Brooke and I originally got connected through a photography workshop! She was the caterer and I was the makeup artist! (You can see that collaboration, here. You can also find all of her incredible food, here) Brook and Andrew's wedding took place in three different venue locations. They rented out The Clifton Bed and Breakfast for their entire family and bridal party to stay in for the day/night before. The ceremony was held at the Swedish Institute and the reception followed at Volstead's Emporium! If you haven't checked out any of these places yet, I highly suggest it. Each place feels like you're stepping back in time in all the best ways!
Brooke's makeup was classic. It had a very vintage and timeless look, which went perfectly with all the details of her day. To achieve her look I used the following products:
- Lips: Mac, "Mac Red". -- Finding the right color for each bride's look is probably the most challenging part in my opinion. It can transform the look and make or break it. If you're looking for that perfect red, do yourself a favor and go try out this color. I have yet to find a person that it doesn't look good on!
- Eye's: Mac Cream Liner is what was used to achieve the precise liner. It gave the eyes intensity and detail with out being too much. It is super easy gliding on the eye and stays put, which I love.
- Cheeks: Nars' Luster. -- Nars needs no explaination as to why it's incredible. It just is. Easily one of my top favorite brands in my kit and life. :)
The dress is stunning. It's custom made and the jacket can come off. One of the prettiest dresses I have seen. As incredible as the pictures are, it was even more beautiful in person. her boots are also navy blue and suede tie up's. So yeah... pretty stunning to say the least.
Congratulations Andrew and Brooke!!
